The farm is located in a panoramic position on a hilltop (altitude 240 m.) about one kilometer outside the medieval centre of the village of Palaia. The village has an interesting historical heritage, including the magnificent Romanesque Church of St. Martino (12th. century), entirely built in Tuscan cotto brick.
